Smart Sums®

Smart Sums is an addition flashcard set that gives students two kinds of practice: strategy practice to understand facts and retrieval practice to recall answers quickly from memory without counting. 

Each card shows a single digit addition fact with sums to 10, a simple ten frame or grouping picture, and a short rhyme that cues strategy. Consistent practice with these cards builds fluency and automaticity.
