Our Family Math Night Kit includes 5 stations plus a bonus, all proven to get students excited about math. They target critical strategies and skills and give kids the repetition and practice they need. Best of all, when parents play our games with their children, they start to think about numbers and math in new and better ways.

At Tang Math, we believe a successful Family Math Night is one of the best ways to build excitement for math and bring families together. Strategies are learned in class, and practice takes off at home with parent support.

All of our games are carefully designed and tested to maximize learning and fun. We focus on number bonds (also called fact families) and use multiple representations to model numbers, deepen understanding, and encourage efficient thinking. Each station includes multiple ways to play, from easier to more challenging, so it is simple to adjust for all grade levels and abilities. The games are naturally differentiated, so younger and older students can play together while everyone stays engaged.

Engaging Night with Families

It was such a great experience to have Greg and Jared here with our students and families. We had a great turnout and everyone that came was engaged in playing math games with their family. Any time we can get our students and parents together learning and having a good time is a win. Thanks for a great experience and the great ideas!

Thanks Greg Tang for the easiest math night ever! We literally had to pry the game pieces out of the families' hands at 7pm when the event was over. One parent yelled across the parking lot to me the next morning that her two daughters were still "Greg Tang-ing" it for another hour after they got home. Thank you for making math practice FUN!

Great Addition to what we already do.

These games added to what our grade level teachers provided. They are user friendly and appropriate for all ages at the elementary level.

Math Family Night was a success!

I made contact with Jim at Tang Math several weeks before our math family night, and I eventually ordered a Family Math Night Kit. The games were a hit with parents, students, and teachers all talking to me about how great they were. One student went right home the same night and played the games online because we gave them the website on a piece of paper to take home as well. I highly recommend this kit. There are actual cards for students who either don't have internet access or just want the card game, and there are also games available online for families who don't want to have to keep track of a card game. Overall, we had a great experience.
